Permanent Exhibitions
The Shot Tower offers a permanent ground floor exhibit on its history and the history of lead shot. Visitors can experience a sound and light show that mimics the tower in action and highlights some fascinating tales of the Tower’s colorful past. Also on display is a brief video on the technique of shot production.
Ongoing + Temporary Exhibitions
Along with its early 19th century architectural grandeur, the Carroll Mansion offers a variety
of temporary exhibits that celebrate Charles Carroll of Carrollton and the many subsequent tenants of the house.

CARROLL MANSION ART GALLERY
Carroll Museums maintains a ground floor room at the Carroll Mansion as a welcome station for museum visitors and as a gallery for temporary exhibits. Exhibits are chosen by our Program Committee according to the needs and interest of the Museums’ community, the variety of shows, the artistic quality of the works, and the suitability of format for the Museums’ gallery space. Artist(s) interested in exhibiting their work are invited to submit a portfolio to Carroll Museums.
