This year marks the 225th anniversary of the Bill of Rights. This monumental document laid the foundation for American identity. Along with the Declaration of Independence and the rest of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights was instrumental in creating American politics, and forever changed the way governments viewed their citizens.
This December, Carroll Museums will host a mobile exhibit celebrating the Bill of Rights’ 225th anniversary and curate a house-wide art show that explores in particular the First Amendment, its influence on our country’s past development, and how it is active in our lives today.
